ECHOLINK AND IRLP ARE NOW BOTH ACTIVE ON MB7IIP AND HAVE THE SAME NODE REFERENCE

REMEMBER TO ADD A * PREFIX FOR ALL ECHOLINK CONNECTIONS

MB7IIP link is located in the Eastern part of Ipswich not too far from what was the Airport site.

The Link is running on a Pentium PIV 1.8Ghz Intel CPU with 512 MB of system memory and has Centos 4.8 installed.

The Link is now running on a Motorola GM300 of which has an output of 4DBW this is fed into a 18 foot Colinear fixed to the top of a tower some 80 feet in the air.

 145.3375 MHZ (110.9 CTCSS)

The link covers 20-30 miles around Suffolk and is on 24/7

 

The Link is running IRLP and Echolink together on 1 PC.

To make an Echolink contact please add a * to the call

EG: To call node 1235 G0CJX please key in on DTMF *1235

If you call an IRLP node no prefix is needed

 

The MB7IIP link can be controlled by using a DTMF microphone
